Lionel Akpabie is a 22-year-old videographer and editor with a strong passion for storytelling through sports. As the founder of ShotzbyLino, he specializes in creating high-impact highlight videos and full-season documentaries that help athletes build their brands and maximize recruitment exposure.
Since 2019, Lionel has worked with some of the most promising young athletes in Florida, focusing on enhancing their digital presence through detailed, cinematic content. He produced a full-season documentary for Bartram Trail High School’s football program, showcasing the team’s development and discipline. One of his standout projects is a highlight film for Sharif Denson (Class of 2023, University of Florida signee), which surpassed 70,000 views on Instagram. He also created widely viewed videos for Alex Fudge (Class of 2020, now with the Los Angeles Lakers), Riley Trujillo (Class of 2024, UCF commit), and most notably, Samorian Wingo of St. Augustine High School (Class of 2026), whose Battle Sports highlight reel gained over 200,000 views.
Lionel is a highly advanced editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. A graduate of F.I.R.S.T. Institute in Maitland, Florida, he holds a diploma in Digital Media and Film Production, combining strong technical training with a creative eye for visual storytelling. His mission remains clear: to use the power of media to elevate athletes and tell their stories in a way that inspires and connects.
